Rangers Diary

Jan 13 to Jan 19 - Week 03 (19  January 2002)

Awoke to a huge male lion on the edge of the lawn. He was terrifying the living daylights out of the baboons who were at the clubhouse. There has been good elephant sightings this week, with the breeding herd and various bulls being spotted. Four lions were seen at the Big Dam on the northern bank. The herd of buffalo passed through the farm early on Wednesday morning. The Woodland kingfishers are still very vocal around the clubhouse and there are two Starlings being raised in one of the clubhouse tree stumps. The weather has been quite warm this week, with no rain in sight.
