Rangers Diary

Dec 06 to Dec 12 - Week 50 (12  December 2001)

Bronze winged Coursers and Nightjars seen in the evenings. Water Dikkop can also be heard. The mopane worms have been all over the farm, it has been an early bonus season, with practically every mopane tree been eaten bare. There has also been a lot of snake activity. The baboons are regular visitors to the clubhouse once again causing the usual chaos. The warthog and her 3 piglets are slowly working their way through the clubhouse lawn and have become quite use to the human activity around them. The herd of waterbuck were spotted between the open area and the Marula tree. With the start of the festive season the hyaena have been homing in on the members units – so be warned!!!
