Rangers Diary

Nov 25 to Dec 01 - Week 48 (1  December 2001)

We have had some unusual elephant damage this week. It seems as if an elephant has taken a dislike to some of the units lapas and garages, he also flipped the tractors trailer upside down. This has probably been caused either by the elephant being in some sort of pain or when elephant are in musth they have been known to behave this way.
A lone waterbuck bull was seen on the open area in front of the cliubhouse. The impala all seem to be lambing at the moment and it seems as if we will have quite a high percentage of lambs this year. The warthog seem to have been scarce this week probably due to the rain and improved grazing.
