Rangers Diary

Oct 14 to Oct 20 - Week 42 (20  October 2001)

The lions have now left the carcass, there is very little that has remained as the hyaena and vultures have finished off what remnants there were. The dagha boys were spotted a couple of times this week in and along the river between the houses. Although the lions were heard roaring this week we did not have any sightings.
Our friends the elephants have been having a go at many of the outside showers and we appeal to members to please shut off their main water valve to the house when leaving.
The waterbuck made an appearance in this week, there were 15 in the herd and they spent the night on the entrance road. A porcupine was also spotted at the compound and dwarf mongoose at unit 54.
